Gestures allow your chatters to "point" inbuilt phrases at other chatters - it's just a bit of fun but it makes this chat script stand out from the rest. You can even add your own gestures or modify the inbuilt ones'.
Banners allow you to take paid advertising by showing sponsor banners at the top of the chat window. You can turn this feature off if it's not required and the whole script has 41 configurable options not including smilies (which you can also edit, add or change), gestures and banners.
