| | This free PHP script is a website in itself. It is a download center that contains pages to download files from the internet in an easy and organized way. It's front page contains most recent and popular downloads along with a news section. The page itself is created for users to upload files, and for the general public to download any files. (The administrator can select who is allowed to upload, and whether users are allowed to register or not). This is a quick and simple way to present files for download to the world. | | Download Center Lite enables a website owner to offer file downloads of any file type on the website. The script can be used in two ways. First you can use it, if you want to hide the real path to your download folder on your web server. You can prevent direct access to the download folder. And second you can make sure that your visitors get the "Save as" dialogue. That prevents that file types like PDF, HTML, TXT or Microsoft Office documents are opened instantly. The script can also log and count the downloads.
